Yes, Korean BBQ again hehe |
Going there: Exit 10 of Myeongdong Station, take Line 4 to Seoul station (2stops); transfer to Line 1 to Jonggak station (2stops) - Exit 5. Head straight, cross the Cheonggyechoen Stream, take a right and walk a few meters; the building of Korea Tourism Organization Building where KStyle Hub is is to your left.
If you're going before the winter olympics, this was right outside the building. |
The third floor was like a museum showing their food process, I think.
The fourth floor was a "restaurant" where they also have food preparation workshops. We actually spent more than an hour going around, and then it was time to go back for our appointment for the hanbok.
The kids were so cute donning the national costume of Korea. Sorry to bombard you but here are some of my favorite photos from the set. Kudos to my brother who took all the photos. After this he has a new-found respect for children photographers hahaha.
More photos of us in hanbok...
Nina had a meltdown after the "photoshoot" hahaha! We were all dressing up when she started screaming her head off, she was sleepy and tired and hungry by this time. But after I wore her and she nursed while being worn, we were off to our next agenda - the Teseum.
Going there: Go back where you came from at Exit 6 Jonggak station, take Line 1 to Dongmyo station (4 stops) - Exit 6. The museum is right outside the exit on the 1st basement floor. However, note that there's a lot of walking involved from when you alight the train in Dongmyo station to Exit 6 - because we used Line 1. But if you alight Dongmyo station Line 6, then Exit 6 won't be that long a walk.
Teseum is a museum of teddy bears. But before we entered, we also went into the Mirror Maze. Nina and I were the last one to enter the maze. I went straight and head on and bumped into a mirror! Buti na lang ako yung nauntog hindi si Nina! hahaha! No photos there coz it was pretty dark, and I think we all just wanted to get out of there hehe.
Javi "colored" a teddy bear puzzle - this was KRW1,000 ata. |
While Ate Miya designed her own teddy bear - for KRW20,000. |
We went back to Myeongdong after the museum. Again, Nina was crying when we left. Hay my bunso! But we can't blame her, we disrupted her nap time all throughout this trip. So the carrier I borrowed was really a blessing to us. She was able to nurse while we walk around to anywhere while I carry her.
Going back to Myeongdong: Go back to Exit 6 of Dongmyo station and walk back to Line 1; take Line to Dongdaemun station (1 stop); transfer to Line 4 to Myeongdong station (3stops).
For dinner, we went back to restaurant where we ate our lunch. This time around we ordered the hot pot and Kimchi stew.
After dinner, we sent the kids to the hotel while Joema and I with my Mama went around Myeongdong to shop heehee. That area is Kbeauty heaven! I really want to go back just to shop! We went back to the hotel before 11pm and the kids were asleep already.
Because I didn't sleep well the previous night, we bought beer before going back to the hotel. I finished one bottle of Budweiser but still didn't sleep early - realization that trip: Bud was so good! Didn't know it was that good hahaha! Joema had to go out again to buy himself another bottle because I drank it all up.
