I’m so
excited to watch the finale of American Idol later. I haven’t been this excited
about AI since the Davids’ season. I know, I know I have been following AI this
whole season but it’s my first time to write about it hahaha. Anyway, I’m as
excited as every Filipino there is about Jessica getting through the finale. I
even voted for her last week. Although, I’m not voting now, not because I don’t
want her to win but because I just want her to win based on America’s vote. I
want her to win and sell millions of records. I don’t want her to win and be a
loser in the record sales department.
Anyhoo,
my most favorite performance of her is when she sang Beyonce’s Sweet Dreams.
It felt like watching a concert, not only because of her singing but because of the production design of the stage. I wonder who thinks about those things on AI – the production design director or the contestants. Or do they consult the contestants on what they want on stage during their performance.

And of
course, who can forget about the judges’ save on Jessica. When she was saved, I
thought she will go home the following week but hurrah she’s now on the finale.
Hay, can’t wait to watch it later!
And I
hope she wins tomorrow. Because I don’t want her coming here and getting her
own soap opera hahaha! I want her to have a career in the States!
