Silence Pa rin

Please do not proceed in reading this if you're sick of my ZZ posts.
What can I say! I'm hooked! I'm already at episode 10. I sooo love the story! And as usual I'm so inlove with Zaizai. Patay na naman ako nito! Iniwan ko na nga lang yung CDs sa office para makaaral ako dito sa bahay. Pag natapos ko na lang i-burn yung copy ko saka ko na lang ulit panonoorin. Can I take the suspense??? Shit!!! I'm so happy! I love the story talaga! Medyo malungkot dahil the two of them can't be together at the moment pero you have this gut feeling na someway, somehow they will be together even if just for a while. It's so nice to be in love and to believe in love.

SilenceD

Finally I will get a copy of Silence!!! Kung saan-saan pa ko naghahanap sa isang kapatid sa pananampalataya lang pala ko makakakuha ng kopya! I was so frustrated watching an episode last night on QTV so I texted Mai, another wifey of zz. Turned out she already watched it and has a copy. Whooppeee!!! I'll meet her later to get the copy and we'll have dinner. Hopefully, EJ will come too.
Zaizai, don't think I forgot your birthday last Saturday. I just didn't have internet access then. Well, I have but I'm too lazy, as usual, to turn on the PC at home. Happy 26th! We're getting older hahaha. Somehow I wish my open letters to you will reach you. Mental telepathy na lang with matching translation from English/Filipino to Mandarin. Wo ai ni!

Gymini

Even if I feel so lazy to hit the gym I will still go because of this "heavy feeling in my stomach", literally not figuratively. I think I've gained two pounds in the last few days. Argh! Why does it take me weeks to shed off 2-3 pounds but it takes only 3 or 4 days to gain back all that weight I've lost! Pakshet!

Independence Day Weekend

How was your long weekend? Yesterday was a holiday, at least here at the office, so I filed for leave on the 11th so that I’ll have a four-day weekend. Happy! I didn’t prepare for any trip, due to lack of moolah :P, so this is how I spent the last four days.

June 9 – I woke up late, which is one of the things I love during weekends. Watched a few episodes of Sex and the City then went back to sleep after lunch. Yes, that’s what I do on weekends when I don’t have anything else to do. Sleep, eat, sleep, watch TV, sleep again. My brother rented out Norbit which we all watched. Joema and I bought ice cream for merienda. You know the Magnolia ice cream with marshmallows you can put on top, the one with Piolo in the TVC.

June 10 – We went to Tagaytay and had a hearty breakfast at Josephine’s. We all thought it was already Father’s Day so we planned our Sunday this way. We only realized it wasn’t when we were ready to leave the house at seven in the morning. That’s okay cause we usually wake up early on Sunday to hear the 7am mass in the chapel right in our subdivision. I brought my camera along only to find out that I have no battery life left. I wasn't able to charge the battery the night before. I was only able to take a few pictures at Josephine's di pa matino ang itsura ng nanay at tatay ko haha.

And a picture of my mother at the garden:

After breakfast we went to Our Lady of Lourdes in Tagaytay. I thought that this church was huge. It turned out the church was not that big, it was just right actually. I was a bit surprised that there were a lot of people going there to hear mass. Maybe I just didn’t think there were a lot of people who live in Tagaytay. I always figured there were a lot of tourists, you know Manilenos going there for the weekend, but not residents.Obviously it was my first time there so I made a wish. Secret muna yung wish para magkatotoo. After Tagaytay, we went home and I went to bed. Ahahaha. That’s only around 1pm. I’m such a sleepyheard, really!

June 11 – My mother and I went to the parlor to get hair cut and treatment. That's almost half of the day spent at the salon. Btw, while waiting for our turn I was reading a Marie Claire magazine, the Philippine edition, and they have an article there where they had the contributing writer pose as a bombshell. She was an ordinary looking girl, very low maintenance, short hair, shirt and jeans kind of girl and they transformed her into a sexy goddess. Gosh they caught people staring at her breasts. There was even an asshole at the MRT who took a picture of her, pero kunyari yung buildings ang kinukahaan nya ng picture, and showed it to his buddies. We can only guess if its her face he took pictures of or her breasts. The nerve of this pricks! Show some respect dude! I just wish they showed the faces of these bastards so that they'll be ashamed of what they did. Too bad I wasn't able to finish reading the article. Anyways, after the straightening and cellophane treatment I had my hair cut. I took a picture of the haircut I liked from this site and showed it to the stylist. He told me that my hair is still too short for that cut so it will just be the front that he will do some styling although he will still trim the back. I want him to copy this:

but it turned out like this:

Not quite the same eh? Maybe I should have it blow dried like the first pic.
June 12 - Joema had his off yesterday so he went straight to our house after his shift. Well, he slept the whole morning so I watched DVDs. I was able to watch Bobby, now I'm curious about the life of Robert F. Kennedy. How I wish our politicians are that sincere in running for office. And that I will vote for someone simply because I know he/she will make a difference in my life or the generation next to mine. Because honestly in the last elections I voted for the lesser evils, I researched on the things they've already done and hoped and prayed that after I voted for them and they won they will do something good for the people and stop politicking. In hindsight, I didn't realize I watched this movie on our Independence Day. Did you do something special to celebrate our independence? I didn't but when the Lupang Hinirang was played in the cinema that night I proudly stood still and sang my heart out. I'm getting ahead of my story. When Joema woke up, we went to the mall to watch Pirates of the Carriben: At World's End. I know it's been almost a month and we were only able to watch it yesterday. I liked the movie, more than the second one. Do you think there will be a fourth one? They can easily make another sequel for the movie. I liked the scene where Elizabeth and and Will was married by Capt. Barbosa while doing the fight scenes. Oh just kiss! :)

Picture Paints a Thousand Words

I was bloghopping when I saw this. Do you think I'm pathetic going through a wedding photographer's blog when I'm not yet getting married? Fol Rana's wedding pictures are amazing. Plus he gives tips and features different churches and venues for couples' weddings. A girl can dream right? I'm hoping I could afford him when my wedding day comes. Naks "when" hindi "if"! But for now, I'm hoping to get the free portrait haha *fingers crossed*

Another June 5 post

Last Friday was our birthday treat for Charline and Steve. We ate at Sumo-sam, Power Plant. The food was great! We had a lot of catching up to do. The last time we saw each other was two months ago during Penny's birthday celeb. As always, we talked about the people who weren't there haha. People who will probably be transferring to another company, people who have already transferred. Chismis galore talaga! Mands was only able to join us after all of us were done eating. Kasi naman may bowling bowling pa. Wala tuloy sya sa group picture...

It was so hot at the resto so we transferred to Seattle's Best to hear about Mands' love life. But before we went there photo-op muna with the cars (solo pic naman si Mands pambawi dahil wala sya sa group pic). Back to Mands' love life...unfortunately, it ended with a sad note. And I won't divulge it here dahil gusto ko pa mabuhay. It was a bit ironic because while Mands was telling us his story, Janice was having us sign her guest book from their wedding. Sayang I wasn't able to take pictures of the album. It was so pretty. They had their prenup at UP, where else! We had problems pa writing on it dahil sa material nung album and the pens we were using were not working. Imagine we had 4 pens that we tried using. Si Steve nag-sign kalahati in black ink, yung kalahati in blue. :) Kapal muks namin dahil there were 9 of us but only two bought coffees. At talagang tumambay lang kami don at nagkodakan.

I didn't realize I had to pay to DL episodes of Silence. Oh well, a girl can't have everything.

Silence DL

Dahil sa wala akong makitang dibidi ng Silence at dahil murder magdub ang QTV...SIL, gave me this website. Yiiipiii!!!! Mag-DL na ko mamayang lunch!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!! Love you, SIL!

I told you this won't be an ordinary day! *teehee*

Coffee, anyone?

It stopped raining outside but my computer keyboard got wet. Oh yes! I am so clumsy I spilled my coffee onto it. Eeew!!! To clean it up I bathed it with alcohol afterwards. Gosh! That's not all... I spilled coffee to my clothes too. Buti na lang I have an extra blazer here at the office. I have to change from my cream colored cardigan to my extra black blazer. I'm so hiya to even tell it to my colleagues here. Buti na lang mga deadma lang sila and minding their own business. Hahahaha. Well, I guess this won't be an ordinary day after all.

I hope you have a fun day yourself! :)

Breakfast at Tiffany's

I got to listen to Deep Blue Something's version of Breakfast at Tiffany's on the radio on my way to work this morning. I think it's only now that I listened carefully to the lyrics of the song and understood it completely. It's a very sad song. What do you do in a relationship when your partner is ready to give up on you? Is it worth to fight for it even if you're the only one who wants in on the relationship? Or do you just hold on to that one special thing that you have? Haay....such sad thoughts early in the morning....

You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care

CHORUS:
And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."

I see you - the only one who knew me
And now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now? I
t's plain to see we're over,
And I hate when things are over -
When so much is left undone

CHORUS:
And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."

You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care

CHORUS:
And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."
