Galileo Enoteca

Penny and I arrived at Galileo Enoteca at around 8pm last Friday. When we got there they already ordered. The place had set menus which serves cold cuts, cheese, pasta, wine and coffee. Since I can't eat most of what they ordered, I ordered an extra garden salad with tuna (damn that fucking diet!). I don't know what the fuzz was all about about that place. The food wasn't extra ordinary (or was it because I only ate the salad and some cold cuts). Although I liked the salad. Charline pre-ordered the mozarella cheese (which is their best seller) but they told us they were already out. Baka that would have changed my mind about their food. Maybe it was the ambience of the place. The place is actually good for dinner dates for couples since it's a small and cozy place...romantic. Although I think I mostly saw groups of friends/families that were there that night. The resto is actually a wine cellar. There are wine bottles lined acrossed the walls and you can actually pick one for yourself. Pero everytime that Steve holds a bottle ninenerbiyos ako na baka mabasag nya.

Playing with the wine bottles at the end of our dinner. Steve was supposed to be holding an Eiffel Tower key chain to his ear (kunyari pirate na may earrings, gets?)

It's our turn to gulp down more wine.

Janice, Steve, Charllan, Penny and me

Muntik pang hindi matuloy-tuloy ang lakad na 'to. Kasi naman si Mands may sinabay na ibang dinner appointment. Si Steve tuloy nagtampo. Well, actually tampo din ako buti na lang matino ang explanation ni Mands. His future depended on that dinner date so okay na rin sa kin. Good thing he followed when we had coffee at Metrowalk. It was supposed to be our birthday treat for Steve and Charline but since only some of us were able to come we just postponed our treat for them. Tentatively on June 17: water spa somewhere in QC.

Dinner was fun since Janice told us about her Mediterranean cruise/Europe trip last Holy Week. She gave us her pasalubong -- Eiffel Tower key chain and Eiffel Tower letter opener for me :). Jose who wasn't able to go also gave his pasalubong from HK thru Charline. He gave us a mirror (na ang ganda ng nasa loob! lakas! hahaha) and a little candy holder from Disneyland (sarap ng candy!). Also it was the first time that Charline and Allan had dinner with us as a couple. They're so sweet. Kwento sila kung kelan at pano naging sila...guess what? While watching Bandidas - which according to them was such a lousy movie. Kaya pala nagkasagutan na lang sila sa sinehan! Hahahaha!

After dinner we headed to Metrowalk. It was my first time to go there kahit na ang lapit lapit lang ng opisina ko don. We continued our chikahan at Starbucks - treat ni Charline dahil she was assigned to head Financials already. Congratulations! Or was it Allan's treat dahil sinagot sya ni Charline? Ah ewan! Basta silang dalawa ang bumili ng kape. Mands arrived at around 11pm. He told us about his dates. Yes with an "S" since it was sort of a soiree pala. We were asking him if he got any phone numbers but he always changes the topic after. We were joking that the next time he's going he should bring us along parang kasabwat. Para in case he finds someone he likes kaming girls na ang babakod para madali sya makalapit. Bright idea noh! We went home at 2am na siguro with our stomachs full of coffee(from the frap) and air(dahil sa kakatawa).
