Sa Piling Mo

Pakshet! Ang ganda ng episode ng Sa Piling Mo ngayon. Naiyak ako chevers! I cried...again! But not the way I cried on its pilot episode. I think I cried half-way through the pilot. After Adrian, Piolo's character, was left by his mother I was crying my heart out up until the final credits. I so love the story of this teleserye. I'm not a fan of the Juday-Piolo loveteam. Well I was able to watch two of their movies but that because of Piolo but I'm not really a fan. But right after I watched Sa Piling Mo's teaser before it was shown on tv I fell in love with it. Teaser palang naiyak na ko noh.

It's a tragic story of Adrian and Jennifer, character of Judy Ann, who are childhood sweethearts. (Tragic story based on tonight's episode. Can I still hope for a happy ending?) Adrian's mom left him because he was blind while Jennifer's mom was killed. They found a shoulder to cry on with each other. They grew up, they fell in love. But the moment they came to Manila(to have an operation on Adrian's eyes) they were separated. Like what Adrian's mother did to him, Jennifer left him at the train station...or so he thought. Jennifer was captured by Mayor who became her enemy because of cockfighting and was sent to jail. Adrian on the other hand was cared for by a lady who he bumped into while wandering the streets of Manila.

A congressman helped Jennifer to get out of jail. The same congressman had a son, Benicio, who later on helped Jennifer to change her name and background to get away from Mayor. While all this was happening, Jennifer gave birth to her and Adrian's son whom Adrian knows nothing about. Jennifer started her new life as Katherine. At ibinaon, literally, sa limot si Jennifer.

Adrian while staying with the lady found a job but was hit by a car being driven by Nicole. Nicole helped with his hospital bills and later on became a friend. She also offered to help Adrian in his eye operation. When finally he can see he went back to their hometown to find out what happened to Jennifer only to be told that Jennifer was dead. He moved on with his life knowing that Jennifer is already dead.

After years of separation, Adrian and Katherine cross paths again because Benicio bought an azukarera. And the conflict begins! What's sad is Jennifer does not want to tell Adrian who she really is, even when Adrian begins to doubt that Katherine and Jennifer are the same person. She feels that they will hurt the people around them, especially that Adrian and Nicole are already planning their wedding. She doesnt want to be selfish and tell Adrian that she is in fact Jennifer. Isn't that sad?

With what they've been through, Jennifer with Benicio and Adrian with Nicole, it really is hard to hurt the other person. It would be really unfair for Benicio and Nicole because they did nothing bad (well, Benicio sort of did once but he undid it) but love Jennifer and Adrian respectively. Sabi nga ni Ninong Al, 'Walang may kasalanan sa inyo, nagmahal lang kayong lahat.' Waaahhhh!!!

Tonight Katherine pretending to be Jennifer(but she's really Jennifer) told Adrian that she's letting him go and that she wants him to be happy even if it's with someone else... kahit na sa piling ng iba. =,( Sadness! Ayaw pa kasi umamin e! Mega-tanggi talaga! In this situation, how can you say that love is fair in love (and war)? Ano pa kayang susunod na mangyayari? Will they still be together? I'm thinking the only way to justify a happy ending with Adrian and Jennifer is if Benicio and Nicole will both die. Or they will just opt for an ending with Jennifer ending up with Benecio and Adrian with Nicole. What would it be? Stay tuned. Watch Sa Piling Mo every weeknights after Gulong ng Palad.
